At Makeup And Hair by Traci & Co.  proper hygiene, sanitation, and maintaining a healthy environment for our clients and staff is and always has been a top priority.Our team is happy to proceed with wedding day services as planned in the event there is not an executive order in place. One of the advantages we have during this time is having a team of artists & the capacity to defer to an additional artist if your original artist is not available.

Postponed Weddings:

We understand the high risk for our brides to proceed with wedding day plans. The risk of  government bans vary state to state and there is a chance some wedding attendees might not be able to travel or worst case scenario the venue will still be closed to the public. We empathize with this heartache and we would like to give our brides the option to move their wedding with no additional cost we simply just move your deposit to your new date(s).

Postponing after trial:

If you’ve had your trial we will 100% try our best to ensure you have the same artist for your new wedding date. If the MUAHBT stylist you have worked with for your bridal trial is not available for the postponed wedding date we will look to pair you with a separate lead stylist to accommodate the new date. If you prefer to have a trial with your new stylist we would NOT require payment for the cost of service as we want to minimize costs as much as possible. We are also offering to come out to BOTH CEREMONY and RECEPTION if you need to split your date! See our Specials page for more info.

Canceled Weddings:

If you are a bride that has booked with MUAHBT through contract/deposit and you have elected to cancel wedding day service (instead of postponing): In the event cancellation occurs 0-14 days before the wedding day the full amount of contracted services would be due 1 day prior. If the wedding has been postponed and payment is due MUAHBT brides are paying the contracted amount and they can allocate the full payment to their new date.

That said, due to Covid-19 we are taking extra measures to go above and beyond our normal protocol to ensure the health and safety of our client and staff, as we continue business as usual. Therefore, you may notice our staff frequently wiping down high traffic and high-touch areas throughout the salon and we urge everyone in the salons to practice impeccable personal hygiene- including frequent hand washing. In addition, if anyone on our team feels ill, they are committed to staying at home. We kindly ask our clients to do the same.

On Your Wedding Date(S):

We are NO MATTER WHAT ready to come to your choice of getting ready location!! If you had to postpone your venue due to restrictions and you are still going through with your ORIGINAL wedding day ceremony and you have to postpone your reception for a future date and would like us to come back for that, WE WILL!!! Or even if you had to pick one or the other, we are HERE FOR YOU NO MATTER WHAT!!! We are taking EVERY safety precaution that we need to ensure our clients are safe. We are wearing hospital grade safety masks, face shields, gloves, increasing our sanitation by providing masks for all of our clients as well. We know that clients getting makeup services done these days may face challenges by clients receiving services by not being able to wear an appropriate face mask, we completely understand! However, we WILL be wearing masks, face shields and gloves aside from our standard typical sanitation protocols. We also will have a full set of freshly sanitized brushes for EACH INDIVIDUAL client receiving makeup services that day as well as our state of the art TOUCHLESS airbrush application which comes with each makeup service already.

We want you, our valued client, to know that your piece of mind, health, and safety are our top priority.

A note from the PBA (Professional Beauty Association):
“The health and well-being of both the professional salon industry and its clientele is a top priority, and the best way to help ensure that is to practice great salon and personal hygiene always — not just during this public health emergency, but always. This is a great example of why beauty professionals are licensed and that salons are regulated, inspected and have oversight by a state level regulatory body. It’s all there to ensure that the health and safety of everyone in the salon environment and their public customers are protected.”
